dry, hot, and windy

This weekend was insanely busy!  I did get to relax  for a couple hours at the Point. I went in the morning so it was about 72 degree and breezy. 2 hours in, hot, dry, and windy.   Walked my buzzed butt home after a couple cocktails, which really only increases the heat so I am not sure why every time I sit by a pool, lake, or the beach I eventually give in to the temptation of an alcoholic beverage. They taste so good, and are very refreshing, but my buzz wore off about a half an hour at at home running around starting to clean and put things in there proper spot since our whole house is currently in shambles.  Landry everywhere and misc items thrown about.  Planing our wedding has turned me into a slob.  Which leads me into the next part of my weekend. Finished Friday night with the grocery store and some good cuddle time with the soon to be hubby. Oh and we went and Saw your Heiness. Good, stupid humor funny but not an award winning film.
Saturday I had to work which was entirely overly exhausting. We had the Earth Day $1 Sale, its fun when the store is so upbeat and full of people but it kills me by the end of the day.  The DJ we had was awesome and I am actually in talks with him to be our DJ for the wedding.  But anywho.. I came home Saturday night and crashed. Anthony and I went to  Brunch at Local Breeze and scoped out wall spaces for our first round of engagement photos. Again it was becoming very dry, hot, and windy.

We found some cool murals and went home to relax and put our things together before we had to get ready to get the photos taken.  We met up with our photographer and the shoot took about 2 hours.  During whole shoot...it was dry, hot, windy! But it was FUN! Anthony and I looked great and we can not wait to see the shots Zach took.  We finished our day with going to visit Anthony's parents and pick up Elwood, we had them babysit him while we were playing models for the afternoon.  A nice big plate of Spaghetti and some frozen yogurt to end our night.  A perfect busy, dry, hot, and windy weekend full of love.

My biggest girl crush! Those bangs, those ice blue eyes, cute, corky, and a very vintage inspired feminine style. Whats not to love?!  Every time I see her it makes me want bangs again!

Aldo-mania!

In my opinion, Aldo has THE BEST AD'S!! They are simple, fun, and very visually appealing. It might be all the bold primary colors, or the shoes, it could be the shoes. What girl doesn't love shoes?! I know I sure do! These ad's make me want to be the models who are featured in them. When I'm walking through the mall, the ad's sucker me in and there I go...shopping!  So here is Aldo's ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2011, with a little video of the shoot thrown in for good measure. Hope you enjoy the eye candy!

Neglectful blogger

I have been so neglectful of my dear blog!  So pretty much this was one of the busiest weeks EVER! Work was crazy, and life was even more CRAZY! but it was all filled with lots of love and fun memories.  Work was nutzo!! We went to PumaPalooza at PVCC, set up the new artist of the month, and we had inventory! It felt like a very long week but it was definitely a successful one! Got my hair done! I tried the whole Ombre coloring and so far I LOVE IT!

This weekend we attended our friends' wedding. It was very beautiful and very romantic. I got a little teary-eyed during the ceremony and for someone who doesn't get mushy during weddings that means something!  It was good to see friends we don't get to see very often. sharing many laughs and smiles, making new memories. Dancing to old school jams, drinking wine and indulging in good food and getting to dress up and look all fancy like. It was a blast.  Here are some fun blurbs  to wrap up this past weekend.

It was very refreshing to see our friends spend so much time and effort on their big day and see the end result and see that it all really does come together.  That all the little things don't matter, and only I will notice them if they aren't perfect.  In no way am I a bridezilla but I am beginning to stress out about how much actually must be accomplished within the next 7 months.

Yummy post wedding breakfast with my love
Oh the joys of pre-wedding bliss. I know I am stressed out now and sometimes Anthony prob wants to put his hand and over my mouth to make me shut up, and just tell me to breath, but I really do think that I will miss all the planning and miss this process once its all accomplished.  I have a love/hate relationship with stress. well obviously chest pains at 25 isn't good, but I like being busy and having things to do all the time. I can't wait to go back to school once the wedding is over that will keep me preoccupied most definitely.
